- The body is often dehydrated in the morning.
- Caffeine dehydrates your body.
Experiment for 1 week: Drink 1-3 cups of water in the first few hours you are up. Drink
6-10 cups of water total each day (including fluid in soups and non-caffeinated teas).
Your water and fluid needs vary due to many factors such as the elevation you live at, the type of food and drink intake, and any medications you may be taking.
